Have tried it myself and can confirm it works.
As mentioned however, this will NOT fix the black galaxy screen.
But atleast it's something for now and it shows progress :)

Confirmed, saves do work.

although the two above have confirmed that it works the both sounds to alike for my liking secondly taking a look at the file size its the reloaded crack (same byte size) also it has the same time stamp as the reloaded crack so is there anyone else with a bit of history who can confirmed that it works?
Until the galaxy map is fixed, no crack worth downloading... As someone wrote in a comment elsewhere, you can set the autosave to 1 min, and you always get an save when loading :D
all aspects seem identical to RLD but this one is 1 second older ;)

Felgard: the size of the crack doesnt matter, the Detonation crack is about the same size as this. It depends on how it is cracked, afaik Reloaded changed the securom check, but Detonation removed it, hence the difference in size.
Reloaded crack is about 47 mb when unpacked btw.

Yes, no doubt this is the rld crack, but it has been changed to make saves work. Do a compare using any decent hex editor and it becomes obvious. Or use IDA.
At offset 1F1328h, the NoGrp crack has a series of NOPs followed by an unconditional jump, while Reloaded has a MOV, followed by a conditional jump.
Also, the PE Header in this crack matches the RLD crack:
"Spock&Captain Kirk/\RLD/\Veni,Vidi,Vici"
The crack is stolen, yet it's improved. 1-1.

It does fix the savegames, not the galaxy map and I found now trojans or viruses in it.
If you think fixing the savegame issue is worth it then get it, otherwise meh. I downloaded it just because I would rather have 99% working crack then an 98% working crack, but thats just me :).

This torrent seems to be suffering from plumber's butt (half crack).
At least they're making progress. I just hope that once the galaxy map security is fixed, we don't come across yet ANOTHER portion of the game later on that is protected and causes the same shit as the galaxy map.
